It’s heating up outside, so we thought we would take the Clubhouse for a picnic and for a dip in the pool! Well…not really! But we did paint a Picnic Basket and a Retro Swim Suit door hanger!
We were thrilled to have Heather Davis of Honey Hush Creations as our Guest Painter!
“I’m a self taught crafter from small town Oklahoma. I’ve been married to my husband for 20 years and we have 3 teenage boys. I love making and DIY-ing all kinds of things. And I love inspiring women to find their inner crafter. I’m the happiest when I’m encouraging others. I believe anyone can be crafty with a little guidance. I started Honey Hush Creations in 2017. I do in home paint parties and I recently opened a workshop for paint parties and will be adding other DIY workshops soon. I also offer “Party in a box” kits and have a Monthly virtual paint party subscription.”
Watch my facebook live interview with Heather:
Heather taught the group how to paint the a School Bus Door Hanger!
If you’d like to paint your own School Bus, you can get the template here and the blank here. Check out how great these back-to-school signs turned out!
I taught the clubhouse how to paint a Boxwood Wreath door hanger with 3 interchangeable attachments!
This door hanger is great because you can leave it up on your door all year and just change out the attachments for the seasons! Wouldn’t this make a great gift?
We were also excited to learn a new hand lettering technique from Crystal Martin of Twiddlebugz Designz!
Below is an example of Crystal’s awesome handlettering talents!
Jennifer Boehme of Nine Twenty Four Designs taught us a fun fluffy bow technique as well!
If you’re interested in joining the Painter’s Clubhouse, go here to find out more and get on the wait list! It’ll be reopening in 2019!
